SPRING QUILT & CAST - SEWING MACHINES AND SALMON FLIES May 2, 3 and 4, 2008 and May 16, 17 and 18, 2008 Join us for our popular Quilt & Cast retreat. She quilts, he fly fishes and they both have the perfect weekend together! Offered during the typical peak of our famous Salmon Fly hatch...this retreat will book quickly...contact us soon as space is limited! Package includes: Two nights lodging in a cozy, historic cabin (All cabins have microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, bathroom with shower, and either full or queen size beds). All meals catered in our on-site cafe including yummy Oasis specialties such as Gloria's huge, homemade cinnamon rolls and Mark's fall-off-the-bone baby-back ribs. A visit from our local masseuse to soothe those aching casting arms and sewing shoulders. (Additional fees apply please let us know in advance if you'd like a massage). For the Gentlemen: A full day (or two half-days) of professionally guided driftboat excursions to flyfish for wild trout during our famous Salmon Fly hatch...big bugs and big fish on the prowl. Hands-on assistance, instruction and guidance to the best fishing water from seasoned Deschutes River guides. Evening presentations on a variety of fishing-related topics such as Deschutes River entomology, fly tying, rod building, etc. For the Ladies: Plenty of time to quilt throughout the day and even into the night in our cozy quilt room just steps away from your cabin. One quilting project class and multiple fun quilting demonstrations from our talented instructors.Lots of fun, plenty of pampered sewing time and door prizes given out throughout the weekend. June 13-15, 2008 A family-friendly gathering of Volkswagen enthusiasts! Camping, potluck, catered BBQ, live music, fishing, whitewater rafting, relaxing and visiting with VW owners of all types!
